Every month, our Sophisticated staff will curate an exciting monthly box full of awesome picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which we will deliver to your door. The monthly box features full-size and/or sample size products and premium items including brands consumers have yet to discover. Your monthly subscription box will include products worth over $100. (Please note: The $100 value is based on the manufacturer's estimated MSRP at the time products are acquired bySophisticrate. All prices are subject to change without notice.)
If you purchased your box prior to the first of the month, or you are an existing subscriber, your Sophisticrate is expected to ship by the 23rd of the month, or the following business day, if the projected shipment date is a holiday, or as otherwise indicated in your Account. Please note, if your account was placed on a billing hold, you will be subject to further shipping delays. Your Subscriptions section in your Account will initially display that the tracking information for your box is "processing" while your order is processing. When your box ships out, the "processing" message on your account settings will update to reflect your tracking information. You will also receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow your package's progress. Please note that while we do our best to maintain the projected shipment date, shipments may be delayed as a result of vendor issues, emergencies, severe weather, natural disaster, strikes, acts of government authorities, or other factors beyond Sophisticrate's reasonable control.
In the Sophisticrate, you will receive 6+ full-size or sample items worth over $100 each month. You can subscribe to Sophisticrate with a monthly, 12 month, or monthly Teen subscription.
You can purchase 1- or 12-month, or Teen gift subscriptions for the Sophisticrate. Gift subscriptions will be terminated after the last month of the term and will not automatically renew. You will receive a link to their gift in your email and you can send it to them however you wish! Upon redemption they will receive their tracking number once their order ships. To place a one-time, one-month, 12-month, or Teen order as a gift, head to the Sophisticrates Tab and choose your plan. On the checkout screen, make sure to click the box marked, 'Is this a gift?', continue filling out your information and click 'submit order.' Be sure to put YOUR billing and shipping address, as they will input their information when they redeem they receive the link from you and register on our site. Going through these steps will ensure this is a one-time purchase and it will not auto-renew.
To view tracking information for your subscription, please check the email address you have one file. There you will find the shipping history and tracking number for your subscription. You will receive this email once your box ships.
To update your account password, please log in to your member account, where you will see the Account Details section. Click on the Update button to update your password or email address.
You can make changes to your billing and shipping information in the Billing and Shipping address sections in your Account. To update your billing or shipping information, select the Update button above those particular fields. To update your credit card information, select the 'update billing details' link next to the subscription you wish to update. Here you can add a new credit card. Please complete any billing or address changes before the 19th of the month. If you haven't made address changes by the deadline, then there is a risk that your Sophisticrate may go to the previous address we had on file for you. Please refer to our Terms for more information. Please know that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that your address is current and that you can receive packages, which don’t require a signature.
You can find information regarding recurring payments for your auto-renewing subscriptions in the Subscriptions section in your Account page. Here you will see all the orders for your account.
Billing and Shipping
Your account will automatically be placed on a billing hold when your billing information is not current (i.e., expiration date is incorrect, credit card number is no longer valid, etc.). When billing is processed at the beginning of the month, if your account is placed on a billing hold, you will receive an email notification alerting you that you have 48 hours to correct your billing information for your subscription. If you updated your billing within the allotted time frame but the information is incorrect, you will receive a follow-up email notification as a reminder to change your billing so it can be processed. Please note, accounts placed on billing hold are not immediately recharged upon updating your credit card information on the subscription. Subscriptions placed on billing hold are subject to later delivery dates. Please know that we cannot reserve that month’s Sophisticrate for you if the billing hold remains on your account. As indicated in the email notification, all subscriptions placed on billing holds that are not correctly updated within 7 days may automatically be closed. While the subscription will be closed, your account will remain active but will require you to create another subscription. We recommend using the same login information when creating a new subscription so that any referrals carry over.
All subscriptions automatically cancel at the end of the 12-month period (as applicable). However, if the "gift" option was checked at time of purchase, your subscription will not auto-renew and will expire after the prepaid period.
All Sophisticrate purchases are final sale and nonrefundable. We do not currently accept returns of the Sophisticrate, and any box returned by a customer will not be eligible for a refund. In the case that your Sophisticrate does not arrive, Sophisticrate must be notified in writing within 4 weeks of receiving your tracking information. If Sophisticrate is not notified within that time frame, we can no longer be held accountable for the missing items and will not be able to offer a replacement or refund. Note it may take 2 weeks to fulfill. All refunds are granted at the sole discretion of Sophisticrate.
We currently only ship to the United States. Boxes are sent via US Postal Service and FedEx SmartPost from Arizona. Once your box is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow your package's progress. With this service, the post office will drop off your package without signature confirmation (please note: it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that a package can be left unattended without signing for it upon delivery). While we strive to make sure the delivery of your Sophisticrate happens in a timely manner, we also do our best to think green when it comes to the packaging of your box. You can feel good about opening your box knowing that it is 100 percent recyclable. At this time, we do not offer shipping to APO addresses, Guam, and Puerto Rico, but plan on launching this feature soon. We will occasionally ship via FedEx ground to expedite the shipping process. Please note, FedEx ground does not ship to PO boxes and APO addresses and we apologize for any inconvenience. If the address on file is a PO Box or APO address, we are unable to guarantee a delivery date, as expedited shipping is not an available option for delivery to PO boxes and APO addresses.
You will be billed for the monthly or 12-Month subscription plan purchased immediately upon placing your order for a subscription. Please note that if your monthly subscription begins in a later month, you will still be billed at the time you place your first order. After the pre-paid duration has completed, you will be converted to a month-to-month auto renewal subscription and billed when your next shipment is being processed (expected to occur between the 25th of the prior month and the 5th of the current month), or as otherwise indicated in your Account). You will be notified via email when your order is shipped.
Subscriptions for more than one month (e.g., 12-month subscriptions) cannot be canceled during the subscription period. Month-to-month subscriptions can be canceled during the subscription period, but only after receipt of the first month’s box. If you would like to cancel your month-to-month subscription after receiving the first box, then make sure to do so before the 23rd of the month prior to receiving your next box; otherwise you will continue to be billed for the following month’s box. There are no cancellation fees. In order to cancel your subscription, go to the Subscriptions section in your Account. Here you can click on the cancel link next to the subscription you wish to cancel. Click on the "Cancel" link and confirm your cancellation. Please note, cancelling your subscription will disable the auto-renewal feature on your account, but will not affect your current order. For example, if you have a 12-month subs Subscriptions for more than 1 month are prepaid until the month indicated on your account and are nonrefundable. Canceling your subscription before the 23rd of the month indicated on your account will stop any further credit card charges, and your subscription will not convert to a month-to-month subscription.
